For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis. The balance amount can be paid upon arrival in India before the commencement of the services. Payments can be made in cash. In case of payment through a credit card, a small bank processing fee will be applicable on the amount paid by credit card.
Overseas advance payments can be made through PayPal or by transfer to our bank account.
In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements for any reason, we must be notified in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date and time we receive your written intimation. Cancellation charges are as follows:
45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / Service Cost
15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / Service Cost
07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / Service Cost
48 hours prior to arrival or No Show: No Refund
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, the refund will be restricted to a limited amount and will depend on the amount that we are able to recover from the hoteliers and contractors we work with. We do not bear any responsibility for refunds related to unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation, missed meals, or similar services.
Regarding refunds for unused or unutilized services that have been paid for and cancelled in advance, the refund amount will be calculated according to the cancellation policy described above. The refund will be issued to the person who made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 to 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to a credit card account or bank account, applicable bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
Discoverthetaj.com acts only as an agent for hotels, airlines, railways, and contractors providing other services. All exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by the respective service providers.
All itineraries are sample itineraries intended to give a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Various factors such as weather conditions, road conditions, and the physical ability of participants may require changes to the itinerary either before the tour or during the journey. We reserve the right to modify any schedule in the interest of the participants' safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
We shall not be responsible for any delays, alterations in the program, or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, transportation breakdowns, weather conditions, sickness, landslides, closures or blockades caused by political unrest, or any other similar incidents.
We do not provide insurance coverage for expenses arising from accidents, sickness, theft, or any other causes. Visitors are advised to arrange appropriate insurance coverage in their home country. All baggage and personal belongings remain entirely at the client's risk. Our transportation services are insured in accordance with the Indian Motor Vehicles Act, and any claims, if applicable, will be processed according to the rules of the insurance companies and settled in Indian Rupees.
